We all have seen the current hybrids on the roads today. They are very easy to pick out from the crowd due to their distinct design features. Unfortunately this aesthetic is not craved by most consumers, as a matter of fact; most American designed cars are not favored over most imports. With this said, there is a small demographic of people that are looking for an eco car and what design is offered to them. Green consumers are craving the benefits of what hybrid’s have to offer, but do not want to wear the badge of green. So I just found this answer to the problem. The new CR-Z

Honda's just pulled the wraps off its CR-Z car, and announced it's due to go into mass production with a launch date of February 2010. It's an interesting competitor to the Prius and the Volt, and looks sweeter than both.
I have found a few guess that inherit the Honda Insight's drive train, meaning it'll have 1.3-liter 98bhp gasoline engine powering a 13bhp electric motor. It may also have a continuously-variable transmission--a gearless transmission system that far surpasses the conventional gearbox for smooth delivery of power to the roadwheels, and allows for better fuel efficiency.
But, really, the major power of the CR-Z is in its aesthetic. Whereas the existing best-selling hybrid Prius looks kind of awkward and the plug-in hybrid Chevy Volt looks gruff and surprisingly conventional, the CR-Z has been designed to actually look like an alternative, futuristic sports car. I believe that combining current/future sport design features with slight hints of hybrid design will change the face of the hybrid for the best.
